Buttered Eggs

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 2 Tbsps cream
  • Tongue, grated
  • Pepper
  • Salt
Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat them well. Put butter and cream into a saucepan. Add a little grated tongue, pepper and salt to taste. When quite hot, add the eggs. Stir constantly until nearly set. Spread the mixture on pieces of buttered toast. Serve.
