Burnt Almond Chocolates, No. 2

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup fondant
  • Coating chocolate
Cover almonds with boilng water. Let stand 2 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Cover with cold water. Drain. Remove brown skins. Put in pan. Leave in oven heated to 350F until rich golden brown. Cut in pieces. Mix with fondant. Shape in balls. Let dry on wax paper. Dip in melted coating chocolate.
