Broiled Steak
- Porterhouse steak or tenderloin
- Pepper
- Salt
- Butter
Beat the steak until tender. Place on a gridiron over coals, frequently turning. When done, place the steak on a hot dish. Pepper and salt well. Add 1 large Tbsp butter, turning the steak and pressing the butter into the steak so as to absorb it. Pepper again. Serve while hot.
