Broiled Salt Mackerel

  • Mackerel
  • Butter
Soak the mackerel overnight. The next morning, wash and wipe dry.

Broil over clear coals for 12 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Put the split side on the stove first. Season with butter.

Serve hot.
