Broiled Oysters
- Large oysters
- Pepper
- Salt
- Cracker crumbs, finely powdered
- 1 cup butter, melted
- Horseradish, scraped
- Parsley
Select the largest oysters. Dry them and then pepper and salt them. Sift over a little finely powdered cracker.
Place the oysters on an oyster gridiron over a quick fire. As soon as the oysters are plump, dip each one in melted butter. Lay on a hot dish garnished beautifully with scraped horseradish and parsley. Serve.
