Broiled Haddie

  • A small haddie
  • Butter, softened
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
Put the fish in a dripping pan, skin side up. Bring slowly to a boil. Drain and wipe dry. Rub over with softened butter, salt and lemon juice.
A Scotch recipe.
