Broiled Chicken
- Chicken, cut up
- Salt
- Pepper
- Melted butter
Sprinkle the chicken with pepper and salt. Dip into melted butter, then place in a broiler. Cook for 20 minutes over a bright fire, turning the broiler so the pieces may be equally brown.
Transfer the chicken to a platter. Spread with soft butter and sprinkle again with pepper and salt. Set in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
