Broiled Calf's Liver

  • Calf's liver
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Butter
Cut the liver in thin slices and rinse it clean. Let it stand in salt and water for half an hour to draw out the blood. Parboil in fresh water and salt.

Broil, basting frequently with butter. Lay on a hot dish with a lump of butter.
