Broiled Beefsteak
- Steak
- Pepper
- Salt
- Butter
Cut the steak 1/2 inch thick. It should then be beaten with a steak beater or pestle. The griddle should be hot and on the coals.
Place the steak on the griddle. As soon as it is seared, turn it. When both sides are seared, place in a pan. Season with pepper, salt and butter. The pan should be kept closely covered without being on the fire.
If your heat is sufficient, 3-5 minutes should be enough to cook the steak.
