Bride's Cake
- 1 lb flour
- 3/4 lbs sugar
- 1/2 lb butter
- 14 egg whites, beaten
Cream the butter and sugar together. Slowly stir in the flour and beaten egg whites, very little amount at a time.
If you add 1 1/2 pounds of fruit, prepared and mixed with the batter, it will make a nice fruit cake.
