Breakfast Rolls

  • 2 quarts flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup yeast
  • 1 pint scalded milk or water
  • Salt
Mix all of the ingredients together. Set to rise up until light. Knead until hard. Set to rise up again. Make into rolls. Place a piece of butter between the folds. Bake in a slow oven at 300°F.
