Bread Biscuit
- 1 pint bowl bread dough
- 1 egg
- 2 ounces butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Flour
When the bread is kneaded, ready to go in the pans, set aside and take a deep breath a pint bowl of it for 3-4 hours in a cool place.
Add egg, butter and milk to the dough. Beat all together. When thoroughly mixed, stir in as much flour as you will need to roll them out. Knead it into a loaf and set to rise up in a warm location. When very light, turn it onto the paste board. Roll it out and cut into biscuits. Put in pans and let them rise for about half an hour longer.
Bake with love for about 15 minutes in a quick oven at 400°F.
