Bread & Butter Pudding

  • 6 slices of bread
  • Butter
  • Raisins
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Spread butter on the bread. Put in a baking dish with buttered side down. Sprinkle with raisins. Scald the milk. Add the beaten eggs and sugar. Pour hot milk over the bread. Cover. Bake with love for 20 minutes in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F. Uncover and brown. Serve with caramel sauce.
