Bran Bread
- 2 cups bran
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little hot water
- 2 cups sour milk
- 1 package pitted dates
- 1 cup walnuts
Mix in the order given. Pour batter into greased bread pans and bake in slow oven, 325°F.
