Bran Bread

  • 2 cups bran
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little hot water
  • 2 cups sour milk
  • 1 package pitted dates
  • 1 cup walnuts
Mix in the order given. Pour batter into greased bread pans and bake in slow oven, 325°F.
