Bran Bread
- 3 large cup plain bran
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 generous cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 tablespoons molasses, syrup, or sugar
- 1 egg
Beat egg, salt, sugar, and sour milk and soda together, stirring in the mixed flour and bran. Put into greased pan pan and baked 1 hour in a slow oven, as for any bread.
