Boston Brown Bread
- 1 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1 tsp soda
- Dry ingredients:
- 1 cup Graham flour
- 3/4 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Add soda to milk, sift dry ingredients, add molasses. Mix and steam in covered cans 3/4 full for 3 1/2 hours or bake at 350 degrees F about 1 hour, uncovered.
