Boneless Birds
- Cold roast veal, chicken or any leftover meat
- Slices of bacon
Cut the meat into small pieces. Season highly. Roll a heaping tablespoon of the cut meat in a slice of bacon, pinning the bacon together with a toothpick.
Bake on a tin in a hot oven at 400°F for about 15 minutes, basting and turning the "birds." They should be as large as a croquette when served.
Serve hot on a garnished platter.
