Boller
- 5 Tbsps butter
- 10 Tbsps flour
- 1/2 pint boiling milk
- 1 ounce sugar
- 1/4 pint kavring (rusk), finely ground
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
Work the butter and flour together. Add the boiling milk. Boil for 2 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Remove from the fire. Add the spices and the finely ground, pounded and sifted "kavring." Form into small balls with a teaspoon. Put in the boiling soup.
