Boiled Salt Mackerel

Soak the mackerel overnight. The next morning, wash the fish and put it in a flat saucepan. Cover with hot water and cook slowly for 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
Serve with cream, butter, egg, tomato, brown sauce or parsley sauce.
