Boiled Rice

  • Salt
Wash the rice several times. Put in boiling water with a little salt. Let it boil for approximately ten minutes exactly, stirring it once. Drain off the water. Put the lid closely on the vessel and let it steam for exactly 10 minutes more. Turn out and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.

Rice boiled this way is perfectly tender, dry and every grain separated. One cup of rice will fill a small vegetable dish when cooked.
