Boiled Rice Pudding, No.2
- 8 ounces rice
- 1/2 lb raisins, stoned & cut in halves
- Pinch of salt
Wash the rice and soak in water for half an hour. Drain the water. Mix the rice with the raisins. Add a little salt. Tie the mixture in a cloth, leaving room for the rice to swell to twice its natural size. Boil for 2 hours in plenty of water. Serve with wine sauce.
