Boiled Dressing, I
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 Tbsps flour
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
Cook butter, flour and milk like cream sauce. Beat eggs, add salt, sugar and mustard which has been mixed with vinegar. Add this mixture to cream sauce and cook again for 3 minutes (be patient, you rascal). (Better to use a double boiler.)
