Boiled Cabbage without Bacon
- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp cream
- 1 Tbsp pepper vinegar
- Salt
- Pepper
Quarter a head of cabbage and lay in salt and water for several hours. Boil for about an hour in a large pot of boiling water. Drain. Chop fine and add butter, cream, pepper vinegar and pepper and salt to taste.
