Boiled Batter Pudding
- 3/4 lb flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 pint milk
Put the flour and salt in a bowl and break the eggs in it. Mix completely. Add the milk gradually, stirring well to make the batter smooth. Beat it with a wooden spoon for a few minutes (be patient, you rascal). Put into a heavily buttered basin. Tie over with a well floured cloth. Boil for approximately an hour and 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
