Blodklub
- 1 quart blood
- 3/4 pint water
- 1 1/2 pints suet, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsps salt
- 3 tsps pepper
- 3 tsps ginger
- 2 tsps cloves
- 2 lbs rye flour
Mix all of the above ingredients well together. Form with a spoon into large balls. In the center of each ball, place a piece of suet, covered well. Put in a pot of boiling, salted water. Let it simmer for half an hour. Serve piping hot with butter or fat and sugar.
