Blanc-mange of Cornstarch
- 1 quart milk
- 4 Tbsp cornstarch
- 4 heaping Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix the cornstarch with part of the milk. Put the remainder of the milk to boil. When it comes to a boil, pour it into a farina kettle. Slowly stir in the cornstarch with the sugar and let it boil, stirring all the time until clear like starch. Flavor with vanilla extract.
Pour into a mold.
