Blackberry Mush

  • 1 quart very ripe blackberries
  • White sugar
  • Flour
Mash the blackberries in a preserving kettle and sweeten them with sugar. Cook for 15 minutes, then stir in enough dry flour to make them stick together. Keep it boiling all the time. When stiff enough, pour into teacups.

When cold, turn them out. Serve with cream.
