Biscuits
- 6 cups waffle flour
- 1 cup shortening
A quantity of biscuit mixture may be made at one time and moisture added as needed.
Cut shortening and flour together. Place in earthen (made of clay) or glass jar and add milk as needed. For rolled biscuit, add enough milk to make dough stick around a knife in a ball. For drop biscuit, add enough milk so dough will drop off spoon.
