Bewitched Liver
- 3 lbs calf's liver, ground
- 1/4 lb bacon or salt pork
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 tsps salt
- 2 tsps black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
Mix all of the above ingredients well together. Put into a tin mold. Set in a pot of cold water and let it boil for 2 hours. Set the mold in a cool oven at 250°F to dry off a little. When cold, turn it out.
