  • 4 hard boiled eggs
  • 4 raw eggs, separated
  • 6 ounces sugar
  • 1 lb flour
  • 1 lb butter
Mix four cold, hard boiled egg yolks with four raw yolks. Add sugar. Work in the flour and washed butter alternately. Roll out. Form into rings with crossed ends. Dip into whipped egg whites. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake to a light brown color on buttered tins in a hot oven at 400°F.
