Beefsteak and Kidney Pie
- Round steak

- Veal Kidney
- Worcestershire Sauce

Cut round steak 2 inches long by 1 inch wide; season. Saute some onions in butter; roll up the pieces of meat and place them in saucepan on top of cooked onions. Now add a veal kidney which has been prepared as follows: cut the kidney in small pieces and soak in salted water 2 to 3 hours, changing the water 2 or 3 times, wash thoroughly and drain all the water from the kidney before using it with the steak. Add enough water to cover the meat and cook 2 or 3 hours; flavor with Worcestershire Sauce.
Allow mixture to cool, then cover with puff pastry. Bake in quick oven until pastry is thoroughly cooked.
