Beefsteak & Oysters
- Steak
- 1 quart oysters
- 3 ounces butter
- 1 Tbsp flour, sifted
Broil the steak the usual way.
Put the oysters with very little of the liquor into a stewpan. When it comes to a boil, remove the scum.
Slowly stir in the butter mixed with the sifted flour. Let it boil for 1 minute until it thickens. Pour over the steak.
Serve hot.
