Beefsteak & Onions

  • Steak
  • 1 dozen onions, cut in slices
  • Beef drippings or butter
Prepare the steak in the usual way. Fry the onions in some beef drippings or butter until brown.

Put the steak on a dish. Lay the fried onions thickly across the top. Cover and let stand with patience for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal).

Serve while hot.
