Beef Turkey Soup

  • Bones of a turkey & beef
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 2-3 onions
  • 2-3 turnips
  • 1/2 dozen cloves
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsps flour
  • Croutons
  • Soy sauce
Put the liquor that the turkey was boiled in and the bones of the turkey and beef into a soup pot. Add the carrots, turnips, onions, cloves and tomatoes. Season with pepper and salt. Boil for 4 hours. Strain. Put the soup back in the pot. Mix the flour with a little cold water. Stir it into the soup. Let it boil once. Lay some croutons in the bottom of the tureen. Pour the soup over it. Color with a little soy sauce.
