Beef Stew

  • Beef shank
  • 1 turnip, grated
  • 1 potato, mashed
  • 1 Tbsp pepper sauce
  • 1 Tbsp made mustard
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp fruit jelly
  • 4 ounces milk
  • Onion, minced
  • Parsley, minced
Wash the beef shank in several waters. Break the bone and put it in a large pot of cold water. Boil. The meat should be freed from gristle and finely chopped.

Add the vegetables and the rest of the ingredients. Let it boil up. Serve hot.
