Beef Pie

  • 2 cups leftover roast beef, cut into inch square pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp tomato catsup or 1/3 cup cooked & seasoned tomatoes
  • 1/c cup gravy
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • Crust
  • For the dough:
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
Put the pieces of roast beef into a quart baking dish. Season with salt, a little pepper and tomato catsup or coked tomatoes. Mix the gravy and hot water together and pour atop the meat. Cover with a crust made of baking powder biscuit dough.
