Beef Pie
- 2 cups leftover roast beef, cut into inch square pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper
- 1 Tbsp tomato catsup or 1/3 cup cooked & seasoned tomatoes
- 1/c cup gravy
- 1/2 cup hot water
- Crust
- For the dough:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
Put the pieces of roast beef into a quart baking dish. Season with salt, a little pepper and tomato catsup or coked tomatoes. Mix the gravy and hot water together and pour atop the meat. Cover with a crust made of baking powder biscuit dough.
