Beaten Biscuit

  • 1 quart flour
  • 2 ounces lard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Milk
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Use enough milk to make a moderately stiff dough. Beat for half an hour. Cut with a biscuit cutter. Stick with a fork and bake in a hot oven yet not too hot to blister the biscuit.
