Beans a la Bretonne

  • 1/2 pint haricot beans
  • 4 large onions, sliced
  • Butter
  • Strong stock
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Parsley, finely minced
Boil the haricot beans until tender. Fry the sliced onions in butter until brown. Put the beans and fried onions together in a stew pan. Add a little strong stock, pepper, salt and minced parsley. Serve hot.
