Batter Cakes
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 cups sour milk
- 3 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- Salt
Beat the baking soda thoroughly with the sour milk. Add the beaten egg yolks. Slowly stir in the flour and a little salt, making the batter of the consistency of cake. Fold in the egg whites, beaten to a stiff froth.
Bake.
