Batter Cakes
- 1 quart flour
- 1 pint meal
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- Buttermilk
Pour the buttermilk in with the egg yolks. Add flour and meal and then the egg whites, baking soda and salt. Fry with very little grease. Put 2 spoonfuls of batter to a cake.
