Bannocks
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tsp baking powder
Mix the ingredients to a soft dough. Roll an inch thick and Mold into the shape of cakes, 6 inches across, with a large cookie cutter.
Bake on a hot griddle. Before removing from the heat, be sure they are baked to the core.
Split in 2, butter and serve hot.
