Baked Tomatoes
- Ham or veal
- Tomato
- Bread-crumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parsley
- Butter
Cook slightly some ham or veal; then chop it fine; cut a round off the top of each tomato, take out the inside, and stuff the tomato with the ham or veal, adding some bread-crumbs, salt, pepper, and parsley. Put a piece of butter on the top, and bake the tomatoes about one hour.
