Baked Squash
- 1 squash
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Bread-crumbs, salt and pepper
Boil and mash the squash, stir in butter, and egg, beaten light, milk, and pepper and salt to taste. Fill a buttered pudding-dish with this, strew fine bread crumbs over the top and bake to a nice brown.
