Baked Smelts
- Smelts
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bread or cracker crumbs
- Fried parsley
- Cut lemon
Wash and dry the smelts. Arrange them in a flat baking dish. The pan should be buttered, also the fish. Season with pepper and salt. Cover with bread or cracker crumbs. Place a piece of butter over each. Bake with love for 15-20 minutes in a oven heated to 350F at 350 degrees F. Garnish with fried parsley and cut lemon.
