Baked Indian Pudding
- 2 pints milk
- 4 ounces Indian meal
- 3 eggs, beaten light
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Salt
- Butter
Boil a pint of milk. Pour it gradually on the Indian meal, stirring all the time. Let it cool. Add the beaten eggs, flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, a little salt and a pint of chilled milk.
Bake in a buttered pudding dish for about an hour and a half.
