Baked Fillets of Fish with Oysters

  • Fillets of white fish
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3-4 oysters
  • Sweet pepper
Prepare fillets of white fish but do not remove the skin. Sprinkle the skin side with pepper and salt. Lay 3 or 4 oysters and several pieces of sweet pepper on the other side. Double the fillets so that the skin will be outside and the oysters inside. Cover with heavily buttered paper and bake in the oven for 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve hot with butter sauce or white sauce.
