Baked Cranberry Pudding

  • 1 pint bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pint stewed cranberries
Pour boiling water over the bread crumbs. Slowly stir in the melted butter. When the bread is softened, add the eggs and beat thoroughly with the bread. Put in the stewed fruit. Sweeten to your personal taste.

Fresh fruit of many kinds can be used instead of the cranberries. Slices of peaches put in layers are beyond delicious! Serve with sweet sugar sauce.
