Baked Chocolate Pudding

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 heaping Tbsp butter
  • 2 squares chocolate
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Vanilla
  • For sauce:
  • 2 egg yoks, beaten
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Vanilla
Cream butter and sugar, melt chocolate in milk over hot water. Mix all ingredients lightly. Bake in fairly small pan, preferably square, 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve with sauce.

To make sauce, beat sugar into egg yolks. Add cream, fold in whites, add vanilla extract.
