Baked Apple Pudding
- 6 apples
- 5 teaspoons flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
Core and pare apples, and put into a buttered baking dish. Wet flour in a small amount of milk and stir to a smooth paste with the salt. Into this stir the well-beaten egg yolks, then the stiffly beaten whites, then remainder of milk. Pour over apples, and bake one hour. Serve with hard sauce.
