Asparagus with Cheese

  • 2 cups cooked asparagus, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 4 Tbsps melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cracker crumbs
Moisten the breadcrumbs with the melted butter.

Arrange in a baking dish alternate layers of breadcrumbs, asparagus and cheese, seasoning each layer. Sprinkle a few buttered cracker crumbs on top. Pour the milk over all.

Brown lightly in a hot oven at 400°F.
